Registrations are open for the "2022 Summer Camp " organised by “Il Monello”, the Vanvitelli Day-care Centre.

The 2022 summer camp plans activities that allow socialization and fun among peers and the use of appropriate materials. Children will be divided in groups by age: 3 to 5 and 6 to 10.

"Il Monello", through qualified personnel, contemplates different programmes for each age group, with psychomotor, environmental, sports, playful and creative activities.

The summer camp represents a social initiative for working families, aiming to combine the need to keep children busy during the summer school holidays, with efficient, convenient, engaging and formative services and the aggregation of children who find themselves more and more often caught in front of the latest electronic substitute, struggling to relate to the group of peers and to respect everyone's times and skills.

The activities proposed by "Il Monello" aim to stimulate all forms of expression through various activities, such as preparatory sports, theatre workshops, recreational-motor activities, artistic-expressive activity workshops, etc.

Children will be engaged daily in activities such as: creative workshops, games, sports, the younger children also with animated reading and activities that combine play with knowledge/respect for oneself and for others.

The following activities will be carried out in the indoor and outdoor spaces of the "Il Monello" Day-care Centre and in the University sports field:

• sport activities
• team games
• "treasure hunts"
• playful activities aiming to teach the rules of daily life
• group dances
• theatre workshops
• manual workshops

The Summer Camp is open to kindergarten and primary school children divided into 2 large groups with different entertainment programmes according to age:

- from 3 to 5 years at the "Il Monello" Kindergarten

- from 6 to 10 years at the "Il Monello" Kindergarten and in the Vanvitelli University fields adjacent to our venue.

The Summer Camp will start its activity after school closes, from 13 June to 29 July from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Specific workshops will also be carried out by experts to introduce children to new sports and new activities.
